Guitar and Ukulele Instructor

Adam Hernandez is a guitarist from the Miami, FL area, now based in Dallas, TX. He specializes in Jazz, Rock/Blues, and other contemporary styles.
He gained his playing experience while completing a performance degree in 2014 at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus, and playing gigs around Miami. While at Miami-Dade, he studied under the highly regarded eight-string guitarist, Tom Lippincott. Adam then received a scholarship to transfer to the Frost School of Music at University of Miami, where he studied performance with world-renowned faculty members such as guitarist John Hart, pianist Martin Bejerano, and studied arranging with Grammy-Award winner Gary Lindsay. Adam also played in the DownBeat award-winning Frost Salsa Orchestra, directed by Alberto De La Reguera, and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in May 2016.

Adam completed his Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy in May 2020, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
