Hannah Allen

Voice and Piano Instructor

Known for her clear ringing tone and her interpretive skill, Soprano Hannah Allen has been
captivating audiences since her first performance with the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra at
the age of 13. From that time on, performing became a habit of hers, and she participated in
every school musical as well as local community theaters. Though she has been singing for as
long as she can remember, her musical education began on the piano, which she studied for 11
years.

Along with her piano studies, she has extensive experience singing in choirs including the
TPSMEA All-State Choir, the Gordon College Choir under the directorship of Dr. Jamie
Hillman, and local church choirs. After deciding to pursue voice, she was accepted to Gordon
College and was awarded the Friends of Music Scholarship and The Grant Music Scholarship.
She has studied with Metropolitan Soprano Katherine Whyte, and Grammy Award-Winner
Kevin McMillan. She has a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Gordon College, and
she is currently pursuing an MM in Music Education and Choral Conducting at Southern
Methodist University.
